Many teens and young adults who have experienced trauma end up navigating feelings of overwhelm, defeat, and isolation. Relationships and communication with your family and friends may feel disconnected. You may even feel that no one understands you or you struggle to understand yourself. These feelings may even be impacting your ability to focus and function at school or work. In addition to working with individuals and their families who have experienced trauma, I offer affirming support to people navigating anxiety, substance use challenges, OCD tendencies, women’s issues and exploring or embracing LGBTQ+ identities.
Together, we can navigate these experiences and, if needed, reconnect the pieces that make you- you! In my practice, I am passionate about finding the best balance of narrative (talk) and somatic (body) techniques to process and build upon what feels most present for you. As a relational therapist, I understand the therapist you choose is important to your healing journey and my hope is for you to find your best therapeutic connection.
